Hi Do you know the exact date for this concert..I'm the webmaster for the BS site..
Any info would be greatly appreciated..
Thank you..
(I promoted rock concerts into the late ‘70s. Our largest and most successful one was the last annual Southern Minnesota Rock Spectacular in 1977 headlining Black Oak Arkansas, Brownsville Station, and Head East.”)

Outstanding article. All I knew about this company yesterday, was being with Henry, Dave, Tony, Bob & Dean on the sporting clays course. Your article provided me with Henrys last name & the history of him & the company. This was my first usage of Manta to search for companies & the search for information. I can now send Henry a thank you card & acknowledgement of our meeting as I had neither his last name or address. Thank You. Curt

Just read this column yesterday and it brought back some memories. Especially the part where you mention "repackaging of practical, frugal and common sense ideas." Concerning the way to be green, this is the way many of us have lived our lives i.e. driving slower; turning off lights etc.

In another aspect of repackaging, many years ago we were in the Metro with friends and stopped at the Lincoln Del. (Popular place to eat - maybe in the 1970's or so.) One of their specialty desserts with a specialty price tag was Bread Pudding. I could not believe that people would pay an inflated price for something that we grew up with. A way of using stale bread and abundant cream which we always had on the farm.

This repackaging was followed by the popularity of Cressant' rolls. To me, these were the same rolls my Mom baked every week - only she called them Butterhorn rolls.

Enjoyed the article on Dave Neiman. Good magazine.
