Habitat For Humanity’s 7th Annual Home Tweet Home to take place in April

Habitat for Humanity of South Central Minnesota’s seventh annual Home Tweet Home will be on April 21 at the Country Inn and Suites. The evening will include a wine and beer tasting from various distributors, in addition to an assortment of appetizers, cheeses, and deserts.

The Home Tweet Home attracts talented artists who excel in a variety of art forms and who are inspired and excited about creative unique, quality birdhouses and garden accessories in support of a worthy cause. These items will be exhibited prior to the silent auction. Last year’s Manufacturers Division will also be continued, with local manufacturers donating a unique garden accessory for the auction. Last year’s participants were Linder Enterprises (bird bath,) CAB Construction (garden obelisk,) TBEI (garden benches,) IFS (fire ring,) and Jones Metal (fire ring.) The winner last year was Linder Enterprises.

All proceeds of the event will help us build more Habitat homes for deserving area families. Last year’s event raised over $7,800.
