Evergreen & Ink
Laura Smith has three words to describe her business of Evergreen & Ink: Growing, growing and growing.
Smith is the owner of Evergreen & Ink, a brand, website and graphic design studio. Its services include pre-curated brands, social media consulting, brand and product photography and brand coaching. It opened its doors in January 2022 and has expanded and grown exponentially since then, serving a variety of clients with different business needs.
According to Smith, the business was inspired by a “passion for high-quality brand design and a love for small businesses. We also wanted flexibility for our growing family and the opportunity to create my very best work.”
Evergreen & Ink mostly targets creative entrepreneurs, Smith said, but it also draws clients who are looking for a timeless design style for their business or personal needs. It’s located in North Mankato, and while the majority of its clients are in Minnesota, it also serves clients all over the United States, including in Illinois, South Carolina, Kansas, Texas, California, and Colorado.
Smith enjoys connecting with clients and learning about the passions and stories behind their businesses. She has one focus: “Setting business owners up for success (by) creating a lasting brand that encompasses the essence of their business in its very best light.”
In a world where the Internet and social media are changing every day, Smith sees a constant need for branding and imaging to help a business stand out from the crowd. Evergreen & Ink takes a timeless, minimalist approach to brand design and offers high-end print services like letterpress for branded collateral, packaging design and more.
In the future, Smith would like to, “Refine our services, do more of what I love, grow a team, and refocus my efforts on running and growing Evergreen & Ink while I train and hand over the reins to the next amazing batch of brand designers.”
